AEO Lookup: UK business homepage technical-readiness study, 2026 Search-discovered convenience cohort, not a random or nationally representative sample. Independent/local status is based on public descriptions; employee counts were not independently verified. A single server-rendered homepage was fetched per business, respecting robots and HTTPS. No JavaScript rendering, firewall impersonation probes or assistant citation tests were performed. Scores are the publisher's documented editorial heuristics, not probabilities or the full API audit score. Rows: one per distinct attempted business domain. row_id is a pseudonymous SHA-256 prefix of the researched homepage URL; no business names, domains, page bodies or contact details are in this public export. The private collection retains searched eligibility evidence and request hashes for editorial checks. This public file cannot independently establish which named business produced a row. nation: UK nation established in eligibility research; sector: broad research stratum, not an official SIC classification. outcome: measured or excluded. exclusion_reason: grouped missing-data reason; a refused or failed request is not a zero score or evidence of business quality. Optional llms.txt request failures can exclude the complete row, even if its homepage was fetched earlier. schema_score and answer_score: editorial component scores from 0 to 100, measured rows only. Scores favour explanatory content, and are not direct evidence of AI citation visibility. JSON-LD counts describe server HTML; microdata, RDFa and client-injected markup are outside this reported presence metric. jsonld_blocks: number of JSON-LD script blocks. broken_jsonld_blocks: blocks that could not be parsed as JSON. exactly_one_h1 and question_heading_present: 1=yes, 0=no in the HTML reader. English question-word heuristics can miss other languages. declared_language: HTML lang attribute recorded by collector version 2. unknown covers both unrecorded earlier rows and no declared lang; do not infer a language from nation. llms_state: absent (404/410), found (text response), not_a_text_file, or not_requested_robots. llms_valid is 1/0 only when found. Missing llms.txt does not establish an indexing or citation problem. oai_searchbot_disallowed and gptbot_disallowed: 1=robots explicitly disallows homepage, 0=not disallowed by the fetched policy. Search and training are separate roles. These are declared-policy observations, not firewall reachability tests. Measured-row denominators exclude missing/refused sites. Blank numeric/boolean cells are unavailable, never zero. Counts and denominators are available in the report tables. Collection date, sample flow, fixed 20-page extraction cross-check, limitations and scorer fingerprints are in the report. The data may be reused with attribution to AEO Lookup and a link to the report; preserve these caveats.
