Key dates
Key dates for letting agents: October 2026 to November 2027
Fixed dates for a letting agency in England between October 2026 and the end of 2027: tax returns for overseas landlords, the new landlord register, interest rate decisions that move the cap on late-rent interest, and the Christmas days when statutory clocks keep running. Dates that depend on a property's own certificates or a tenancy's own start are left to the tracker and the readiness check.
