How we review

What we check

Every price, plan and feature in a review comes from the company's own pages, and each one is dated. Where a page does not say whether a product does something, we write "not stated" instead of guessing.

What we test

Where we have run a task in a product ourselves, the review says so and describes what we did. Where we have not, it says that too.

How we rank

Each review states its criteria at the top. Our reviews of AI tools score every product on the same six marks: jobs covered, up to 1.5; set up for you, up to 1.5; a person approves, up to 0.5; ongoing support, up to 0.5; price you can read, up to 0.5; track record, up to 0.5. The score is their sum, rounded to one decimal place, and the marks are shown under each product so you can check it. A mark is given only for what the product's own pages state; where they say nothing, the mark is 0. Track record counts for up to 0.5 because the reviews compare what each product does for a small firm, not how big the vendor is. Our software reviews rank on the criteria stated at the top of each.

Corrections

Prices change. If something we say is out of date or wrong, tell us at hello@overlyft.com and we will check it and update the page with a new date.
