Exposure is not the same as risk of losing the job: the Department for Education says its study does not tell whether a job will be helped or replaced by AI.

Where do the numbers come from?

Every result is an estimate and a range. It shows the headline and the main points; the full breakdown for your business comes with a free AI audit.

Questions people ask

Which jobs are most at risk from AI?

In the Department for Education's 2023 study, management consultants and business analysts were most exposed to AI overall, and telephone salespeople, solicitors and psychologists most exposed to tools such as ChatGPT. Finance and insurance was the most exposed sector.

Which jobs are safest from AI?

Hands-on work: the same study lists sports professionals, roofers and steel erectors among the least exposed. Trades, care and hospitality jobs change at the edges, mostly in their paperwork.

Does high exposure mean I will lose my job?

Not necessarily. Exposure means AI can do part of the work. In many exposed jobs people who use AI well get more done and become more valuable.
